Replacement hardware provider for Vistas
What a fantastic opportunity it is to replace the front door hardware at the Vistas. Currently we are stocking two handle sets at our office in case residents have emergencies or want last minute upgrades. Below you will find resources on why the hardware has to be changed and what options are available.
EXTERIOR REPLACEMENT HARDWARE FOR VISTAS
Unfortunately your existing hardware at the Vistas is discontinued. It was difficult to find hardware with the appropriate dimensions and keyway to replace them but we were able to find a solution, The process will not be as simple as just removing and replacing the hardware. Few doors have looked like swiss cheese behind the scenes when we remove the large plates, other doors are warped and some door frames are super tight. Have no fear we are able to patch the holes, shave the door, tighten hinges and realign the door so it works perfectly. Also we make sure the building's master key and your unit key will work perfectly with the new hardware.
Schlage Century Single Cylinder Exterior Entrance Handleset with Vistas Keyway in Satin Brass
This is the Schlage Century front entry handle in satin brass with a Century trim deadbolt with an E keyway. This is the perfect door handle and lock to pair with your doors at the Vistas because your existing hardware is discontinued and the original dimensions are not on US standard. This entry door grip offers the spacing necessary to still have a sleek design. The hardware has a lifetime warranty from Schlage. If it ever breaks or discolors we have you fill out a form online and Schlage will mail out new parts or a new set per the warranty.

After Installation....
TOUCH UP PAINT WILL BE REQUIRED
Unfortunately due to the original hardware's backset holes need to be filled and painted over. The Collins interior trim has been the #1 choice for most residents but other interior hardware options and finishes are available. Touch up paint will be required due to the holes being filled. Vistas is responsible for the exterior side and the home owner for the interior. We sand down the door so you do not have those old visable lines showing. Pat or Edson my helpers can usually come over and paint the interior door for $199-$299 not including the paint.

Currently the cost to convert your door ranges from $748 + tax with sales tax.
